RI Board Of Election Motions To Move Forward Regarding Compliance With HAVA

Ad

The Rhode Island Board of Elections were advised by legal counsel, Raymond Marcaccio, to move forward in its efforts to review full compliance with HAVA (Help America Vote Act).

Ken Block had raised the issue in a broader concern over mail in ballots not needing or requiring the same HAVA compliance with a walk-in voter at a polling location.

Committeeman Erickson continues on what appears to be a personal, closed minded stance, that the Board of Elections need not move forward in any regards to a review of compliance with HAVA. Committeeman Erickson believes the status quo meets all necessary requirements for HAVA.
