Rebecca is a first generation American and daughter of immigrant parents. Both taught her the value of education, hard work, and giving back to the community. Rebecca is actively involved in Rhode Island and serves on the Jamestown Republican Town Committee. She founded the Jamestown Town Speakers Series that brought in local experts to talk to the entire community about issues affecting the Ocean State, such as emergency management and preparedness, cyber security, and U.S. foreign policy.
Rebecca received her doctorate in political science from the University of Chicago and has lectured on foreign policy to civilians and military officers in Rhode Island and throughout the world. She is a renown author in the field of civil-military relations. Rebecca also has a deep background in corporate and foundation relations and fundraising, working closely with corporate leaders and entrepreneurs who want to grow business and community. In this capacity she has also worked with experts in health care and public health. Rebecca is also a proud local business owner. She will be proudly representing Rhode Island in Cleveland, Ohio at the Republican National Convention.
